OEAS 406/506 MATLAB -- Homework policy

Matlab Class Home

Each class will have an evaluation (homework) assignment. Its purpose is to develop practical skills with MATLAB. Each homework will have three parts of increasing difficulty.

Each assignmant is worth 10 points. Everyone is expected to do the first part of each assignment. It will be worth more points than the other parts allowing you to get a reasonable grade doing only the simplest part of the assignment. You may choose which of the remaining parts to do which will be worth the remaining points. The point value for each part of the assignment will depend on which class you registered for (OEAS 406 or OEAS 506).

Each assignment will be submitted as a MATLAB script attached to an email message (to klinck@ccpo.odu.edu). I will run the script to see if it does the assigned tasks. Answers to questions in the assignment and comments about the procedures or results can be added to the script.

Please name these files NameNumber.m, where "Name" is your name and "Number" is the number of the assignment being submitted. For example, the second homework done by me would be called klinck2.m.

Homework is due before the beginning of the next class.

Late Homework will lose value at one point per day overdue, starting the day after the homework is due, which is Saturday.

Two weeks after the homework is due, I will post a solution script for the homework. If you have not turned in the assignment by that time, you will get zero points for that homework.
