Picture of the Day for 6 August 2002

This picture was taken while we were traveling south through the Biscoe Islands. We are now in heavy ice and it makes going rather difficult. From this point on, we will probably be traveling with our sister ship, the Nathaniel B. Palmer, which is an icebreaker.
