Matt Becker and Erik Chapman take beak measurements on an Adélie penguin near Crystal Sound. This is one of the few chances for the bird study group to get ashore to work with animals on the N.B. Palmer cruise because we were mostly offshore doing the broad-scale survey work (Photo by Carin Ashjian).
